Enjoyable day today at the Duck Derby at Tuscawilla Pond

It was an enjoyable day today at the annual Duck Derby at Tuscawilla Pond. We all cheered for our duck to come in first place for a $1,000.00 grand prize. We would of even been happy to come in second place for a couple of tickets to one of the Disney Attractions. My numbers were in the 4,000’s and all the numbers that were called were in the 2,000’s.

Ocala’s Bachelor-Bachelorette Auction

Thank you Brick City Title for putting together this awesome event, “The Bachelor/Bachelorette Auction Fundraiser” to benefit Terri’s Hope.  It will be a great night of fun!

Where: Ocala Ballroom Located at: 108 N Magnolia Ave suite 104, Ocala, FL

The Bachelor\Bachelorette Auction will be held on May 18th at the Ocala Ballroom in the old Ocala National Bank Building. Tickets are $20 per ticket to attend the auction, and will also enter you in for the Silent Auction and Door Prize Raffle.

This Fund Raiser is to raise funds for Terri Childress, who was diagnosed in 2008 with Primary biliary cirrhosis and Primary sclerosing cholangitis PBC, PSC, AND Autoimmune Hepatitis caused by the First two diseases. The transplant will be from a deceased donor, so there would not be any expenses for a living donor.  Terri needs a liver transplant as soon as possible and will need monetary assistance from all those who will give so graciously. Your donations are deeply appreciated.

Duck Derby at Tuscawilla Pond

This fun family event at Tuscalwilla Park will be holding it’s annual Duck Derby. There will be around 1,000+ rubber duckies racing~ Come join in the fun and possibly win some prizes that also includes cash prizes.

Lots of children’s activities: inflatable slide, face painting, crafts, sidewalk drawing and sand art are among the fun things for the kids to do.

Proceeds goes to benefit prevention and intervention programs of the Children’s Home Society of Florida.

The cost is $5 per duck… purchase as many as you want.

Activities are FREE, however food is available to purchase.
